GPS D-500 Mobi Drop
These fully hydraulic, purpose built piling
rigs are designed and built for the
installation of Steel Cased Driven Piles, up
to a maximum diameter of 323mm, driven
by an internal drop weight suspended from
the extendable mast. Front outrigger legs
provide additional support to permit the use
of drop hammers of weights up to 750 Kg.
The winch is driven by a hydraulic power
pack that is towed behind the rig, but can
be located up to 25m from the rig during
pile installation. The power pack is capable
of running 2no. rigs at any one time, hence
programme periods can effectively be
halved should the addition of a second rig
be practical.
The retractable rubber tracks
and raking mast ensure that the rig can be
tracked through a standard doorway to a
working area.
