The health sector, although having experienced some cuts over recent years, has remained fairly buoyant with plenty of related tenders being issued. At Van Elle, we have secured many health care projects, both public and private, large and small working for contractors such as Wates, Kier, Interserve, Seddons, Miller Construction, Willmott Dixon and many more.

Our success in this sector has been due to a number of factors including our reliability and responsibility, innovation in all aspects both pre and post tender, in-house capability and our experience. Main contractors that put a great value on reputation and their relationship with their clients feel confident that Van Elle will represent them on site in a professional manner, sporting the correct, liveried PPE, using modern, well maintained rigs, keep to programme, be in regular communication with the principal's site team and, most importantly, will overcome any unforeseen ground conditions and obstructions quickly and efficiently.

Health and safety is our priority and all of Van Elle's directors, managers and engineers are tasked with making at least 2 site visits per month to carry out audits. Each member of our health and safety team also spends 2-3 days per week on sites.

Health Care projects on which we have worked recently include; Bestwood BMI Hospital, Dursley Community Hospital, Royal Surrey County Hospital, Kettering General Hospital, Fitzwilliam Hospital Radiology Unit, Northern General Hospital, Harborne Leisure Centre, Ladbrookes Hospital, Glenfield Hospital and Nottingham Queens Medical Centre development. We are continually investing in new rigs and equipment allowing quieter working, which is welcome when working close to populated hospitals and helping us to complete projects faster and more efficiently.

Able to offer piling, drilling, investigation, monitoring, testing, foundation and slope stabilisation techniques in-house means that our clients have a single point of contact and interaction between geotechnical services is managed by Van Elle.
