Driven Piling
Driven piles can be used in a wide range of soil conditions, are quick to install and produce no spoil. We use fully reinforced, precast concrete piles manufactured under strict quality controlled conditions. The piles can be extended using a mechanical interlocking joint. We can achieve capacities in excess of 1000kN.
Using our fleet of Driven Piling rigs we are able to install the following types of pile.
Precast concrete 200mm square to 350mm square
Thick wall Steel tube
Steel H-section
Bottom driven thin wall steel
Timber

Our Vemech® precast concrete piling rig and pile is a short segmental concrete pile designed in compliance with European design codes. The Vemech pile is 200mm square diameter and has a safe working load of 350kN.

This short, segmental pile is suitable for a wide range of building foundations from restricted access low headroom contracts to large greenfield developments. It is quick to install without the need for excessive site preparation. Vibration is minimal and the small pile sizes can be installed as close as 500mm from an existing dwelling. Pile units are manufactured in-house in 2.5m lengths to reduce operating height.
