Smartfoot® installation with piles

Once complete the piles are accurately cut down to the required level. The pile caps are then cast in position allowing the Smartfoot® beams to be lowered into place. Finally, they are post-tensioned forming the complete and perfectly level foundation system ready to be built up to DPC. We can provide the piles as well as the foundations.

Smartfoot® installation without piles

The ground is prepared to achieve the required levels and the minimum ground bearing capacities, which can be improved with the introduction of a compacted granular material placed beneath the groundbeams. The precast foundations are positioned, as designed, to a 25mm deep binding which acts as a levelling base. The beams are then post-tensioned forming the complete and perfectly level foundation system ready to be built to DPC.
