Soil mixing is an insitu ground modification technology by which wet binding material is blended with the soil by rotary or mechanical mixing tools to form hardened material with improved engineering properties such as stiffness, sheer strength, bearing capacity and reduced permeability.

It is a fast and cost-effective method using less materials and with less spoil removal from site than conventional techniques.
