Value Engineering

At Van Elle, we see it as our primary role and our responsibility to provide our clients with the best possible value engineered solution for their project regardless of the foundation/ground stabilisation requirements or the size of the scheme. Once the ground investigation report, loadings and layouts have been considered, we will identify the options before proposing the most cost effective, quality solution to the client. Wherever possible, we will try to reduce pile numbers, depths and/or diameters or will use our bespoke software packages to minimise the amount of grout used to consolidate redundant mine workings or to quickly design and manufacture our innovative precast modular foundation system; Smartfoot®.

When a client or their engineers request a particular solution we will, of course, quote as required, however, if our engineers can see a more cost effective alternative or have worked on a similar scheme in the past where a different product/method was used successfully then we will also offer this.

Our in-house design team have a wealth of knowledge and experience, within all sectors of the industry, to propose the very best value engineered solution providing the desired results whilst minimising costs and programme every time.

Over the past couple of years we have also launched our 'fixed price guarantee' ensuring that should you appoint us to undertake your site investigation work, then we shall provide you with a 'lump sum' price, comparable to 're-measure' quotes of our competitors, for any follow-on services we supply. Whether you require drilling and grouting services, piling or the design and installation of ground anchors, soil nails or our Smartfoot foundation system, you can be certain of your entire project costs prior to beginning the build and allowing you to budget accurately.
