Van Elle install foundations for the training facility car parks and turning circle at Galliford Try Nexus training facility.

The Nexus Training and Maintenance facility will be a state-of-the-art bespoke training centre which will allow Nexus to deliver a wide range of infrastructure and operations training to staff.

Van Elle secured the project after demonstrating extensive knowledge in the geotechnical engineering industry and a specialist knowledge when working on or near the railway infrastructure and an exemplary Health & Safety record.

The project required the installation of 14 No Rotary Bored foundations at 1000mm, 900mm & 750mm OD to depths of up to 4.7m and also 157 sheet piles, Van Elle employed its own tracked Colmar T10,000FSC fitted with our Movax and TAD30 soil drill attachments. Works were completed by Van Elle’s team during 12 x daytime possessions.
