Van Elle has provided crucial support to a Warwickshire rail project connected to the new HS2 railway line.
The project, in Curdworth, Warwickshire, saw Van Elle work with Balfour Beatty Vinci and Pod-Trak.
Together, the team safely installed 44 no. circular hollow section (CHS) piles to extremely precise tolerances to allow steelwork to be installed ahead of the next phase of the project.
The foundations will allow for a temporary fence at the site, allowing further HS2 work to continue alongside live Network Rail lines where trains can travel up to 120 mile-per-hour.
David Buckley, Rail Director at Van Elle, said: “This is another safe and successful project delivered on the rail network by our team working closely with our partners in Balfour Beatty and Pod-Trak.
“HS2 is the most significant investment in the country’s rail infrastructure for a generation and we’re happy to support it with the expertise we have both within our own business and through our partners and supply chain.”
Van Elle has recently completed ground improvement work for HS2 in London for the Skanska Costain Strabag joint venture, with further projects in the pipeline.
