Each year, Van Elle supports a Charity of the Year, selected by our employees, to raise funds and promote awareness for important causes.
For the 2024/25 charity year, we supported the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre (CBTRC), the world’s leading charity dedicated to saving lives through research, advocacy, and information on childhood brain tumours.
Thanks to the generosity of our employees through salary contributions and fundraising activities, we raised over £11,000 to support their vital work.
Following our support for the CBTRC, we are pleased to announce that Bottled Up Blokes has been selected by our employees as the Charity of the Year for 2025 to 2026.
This local charity provides safe spaces for men to discuss mental health, addiction, and life challenges. They run support groups, football sessions, and community projects across Nottinghamshire.
We began our support for Bottled Up Blokes with a charity raffle held during our recent Supplier Day, raising an impressive £2,245. Thanks to the generosity of one of our suppliers, this amount was matched in full, bringing the total donation to £4,490. Additionally, our Van Elle football match raised over £200 to further support the cause.
Supporting Bottled Up Blokes continues our commitment to community causes and improving men’s mental health while addressing the stigma surrounding it.
We are proud to have supported the CBTRC over the past year and look forward to supporting Bottled Up Blokes in the year ahead.
