This week, Jack Bugden, Placement Student, and William Harrison, Apprentice Civil Engineer from our Specialist Piling team, attended the London Build Expo 2025 at Olympia London.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with industry leaders, expand their knowledge, and gain insight into the future direction of the construction sector.
London Build is the UK’s largest and most prominent construction expo, attracting more than 35,000 industry professionals. The exhibition covers a wide range of topics including digital construction, AI, sustainability, modern methods of construction, fire safety, housing, and major UK infrastructure projects.
Both Jack and Will found the event highly informative, particularly in understanding emerging technologies and the evolving landscape of construction and development.
They also commented on how encouraging it was to see the industry’s growing focus on environmental responsibility and innovation in safety methods, with a strong emphasis on circular economies and improved safety standards, especially in response to the Building Safety Act.
In addition, they highlighted the value of learning more about regulatory changes, safety requirements, and sustainability trends, noting the extensive presence of fire safety solutions and sustainable development initiatives throughout the expo.
