Graham Beardmore Retires After 36 Years

Employee Recognition Employee Retirement Long Service

After 36 years of dedicated service at Van Elle, we are proud to recognise the retirement of Graham Beardmore, one of our longest-serving employees.

Graham joined the business on 16th October 1989, starting as an Operative before progressing into a Supervisor role and later moving into the yard as a Supervisor Welder.

Throughout his career, he consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, hard work, dedication, and commitment to the company.

His professionalism and reliability have made him a highly respected colleague across the business.

Graham’s contributions extend well beyond his day-to-day role. He played a key part in the development of the auger cleaner and was a true pioneer for the company, becoming the first employee to take one of our rigs overseas to work in a refinery in Holland.

Over the years, Graham has undoubtedly had a significant impact on the business, leaving behind a strong legacy of quality workmanship and commitment.

His knowledge, work ethic, and loyalty will be greatly missed by colleagues throughout the organisation.

Ian Jones, Group Operations Director, said: “Graham has made a significant contribution to Van Elle over 36 years. His experience, reliability, and technical ability have been invaluable to the business, and we thank him for his long service and commitment.”

We thank Graham for his many years of hard work and dedication and wish him every success and happiness in his well-earned retirement.
