Everyone at Van Elle is devastated by the tragic incident at Annan on 21 January and we continue to work closely with the HSE to understand the cause or causes. We are in close contact with the deceased’s employer to provide whatever support we can. We have also spoken to others in the industry so that all similar rigs can undergo additional testing to ensure continued safe operations. The health and safety of Van Elle’s employees and sub-contractors is our highest priority and we will share any further information as soon as that is appropriate.
