We recently acquired two RTG RG16 rigs, marking a significant step forward in our ground improvement operations.
The new additions to our fleet will enhance our service offerings and align with our growth objectives.
These versatile machines can install sheet piles, vibro stone columns, rigid inclusions (RI), and continuous flight auger (CFA) piles.
This multipurpose functionality is designed to meet the increasing demands of our clients and the evolving industry needs.
In comparison to our existing fleet, which includes the RTG RG19, the RTG RG16 rigs offer similar performance with a slightly shorter mast. This allows for efficient operations while maintaining comparable output levels, ensuring that our clients receive consistent and reliable results.
Equipped with Tier 4 engines that meet NRMM Low Emission Zone standards, these machines support our commitment to sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing operational efficiency.
Additionally, they come with advanced capabilities suitable for the diverse range of ground improvement techniques we offer.
Malcolm O’Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer, commented, “With substantial growth in the RI and sheet pile markets over the past 12-24 months, these new rigs will enhance our service capacity. Their acquisition aligns with our strategic goals, particularly for major infrastructure projects and strengthens our fleet, positioning Van Elle to meet growing customer demands and drive innovation in ground improvement solutions.”
