During Plastic Free July, Van Elle are proud to continue our commitment to reducing plastic waste and building a cleaner, greener industry.
Here’s how we’ve been making a difference:
✅ Replaced single-use plastic concrete pump primer bottles with fully recyclable buckets – saving over 940kg of plastic waste in the past year.
✅ Swapped traditional water cooler bottles and plastic cups for sustainable, reusable alternatives.
✅ Conducted a comprehensive review of paper packaging across all sites to minimise the use of unnecessary plastic and enhance sustainability efforts.
✅ Launched a PPE Recycling Initiative in partnership with RSH – colleagues can now recycle old PPE, and once the 1100L bin is full, it’s collected and processed responsibly.
Real change comes through consistent, collective effort. Every small action helps reduce plastic pollution and builds a more sustainable construction industry.
