We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest piling rig, the Junttan PM16.
Arriving to our head office last week and mobilised to its first project in Macclesfield this week, this latest addition is our ninth Junttan and seventh PM16, further expanding our fleet’s capability.
The PM16 is the most compact model in the Junttan range and is designed for a wide variety of driven pile types, including concrete and steel piles, making it ideally suited for diverse foundation projects.
It is equipped with a changeable 3/4T hammer and features an integrated NDT pile monitoring system, similar to those on our PM16-10 and PM16-11 rigs. The rig weighs approximately 37 tonnes and can handle pile lengths up to 15m.
The advanced NDT system enables real-time monitoring of pile installation parameters, providing enhanced quality control and improved health and safety by reducing the need for manual set measurements near the hammer.
Additionally, it supplies critical data to our engineering teams for ongoing project monitoring and assurance.
This addition reinforces our commitment to delivering efficient, safe, and high-quality foundation solutions.
