As part of our Social Value commitments, we were delighted to support our customer, Wates Group, in their mission to generate local social value across projects, making a lasting difference to communities.
Recently, our teams came together to volunteer at Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland’s Market Harborough Superstore.
Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland provides a wide range of services to meet the current and evolving needs of older people across Leicestershire and Rutland.
During the day, our volunteers got involved in various activities, including rearranging and restocking shelves, as well as sorting through donated items.
It was a fantastic opportunity to give back to the local community and support a charity making a real difference.

As the first corporate volunteering event hosted in our Superstore, it was a great first experience for us. The store team really appreciated the help and support provided by the team.”
At Van Elle, delivering positive social impact is hugely important to us, and we aim to regularly engage in Corporate Social Responsibility activities like this nationwide.
We were pleased to collaborate with Wates on this project and look forward to building on our partnership through future initiatives.
