Van Elle was recognised with two awards at the Morgan Sindall Construction Regional Supply Chain Awards 2025 (North and East Cumbria), held at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle:
- Climate Action Award
- Subcontractor of the Year (£20k–£100k)
The Climate Action Award acknowledges our work to reduce carbon emissions by using alternative concrete mix designs for CFA piling. These methods delivered significant savings at Workington Innovation Centre (23 tCO₂e) and Thorp Academy (46 tCO₂e), equivalent to heating 20 homes for a year.
We also received the Subcontractor of the Year Award for the consistent delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with Morgan Sindall’s priorities around carbon reduction, sustainability, and Net Zero. Our teams were commended for their collaboration and support across multiple sites, helping to embed these goals into day-to-day project delivery.
