Strata Geotechnics opens new sample storage facility at former Pinxton depot

To support its expanding operations, Strata Geotechnics has recently opened a dedicated sample processing and storage facility at Van Elle’s former depot and head office in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.

Vacated in 2019 when the Group moved to new offices at Kirkby, the refurbished workshops offer an ideal space for temperature-controlled storage of all geotechnical samples from ground investigation operations.This ensures seamless logging, processing, and retrieval of samples as part of Strata’s ground investigation services and integrates with plant maintenance operations on the same site.

Gary Baxter, Operations Director for Strata Geotechnics, said: “This facility is key to our provision of high quality services to our customers.  It also allows us to operate more efficiently across a single site with room to expand to meet our growing framework order book.”
