It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Van Elle’s former director, Tom O’Connor.
Tom passed away on Wednesday 8th June surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was instrumental along with fellow Directors Michael Ellis and George Gibson (known as Patsy Gibson) in the forming of Van Elle back in 1984, contributing significantly to the growth of the company during its early years.
He was a hardworking, conscientious, family man who was extremely proud to be associated with the Orange of Van Elle with many colleagues and peers still associated within the Company and Piling fraternity.
Many of our employees are immensely proud to have worked with him, with his vision and legacy continuing for many years to come.
We would like to thank the late Tom O’Connor for his invaluable contribution to the company during his service and express our deepest condolences to his family.
