Volunteers clean up during second litter pick for Ashfield District Council
Community Corporate Social Responsibility CSR sustainability VolunteeringOn Wednesday 28th September, employees volunteered in our second litter pick for Ashfield District Council.
Corporate Social Responsibility is high on our agenda at Van Elle and our teams are encouraged to take part in a wide variety of CSR activities in addition to their day job.
14 members of our team, from divisions and departments across the business, rolled up their sleeves and collected litter local to our head office in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
The team collected and disposed of 14 bags of rubbish, doing our bit to make the Ashfield area that little bit cleaner and greener.
This was a wonderful opportunity to continue our Corporate Social Responsibility work, demonstrating our commitment to our local community.
