Colleagues from across Van Elle, including members of our Strata Geotechnics ground investigation team, attended the Community Family Day hosted by Morgan Sindall Infrastructure on 7 August at Eurocentral, Motherwell, showcasing the important role of ground engineering in supporting major infrastructure projects.
The event brought together project partners, suppliers and local families, providing an opportunity to engage with the community, promote careers in construction and engineering, and showcase the range of skills and expertise involved in delivering major infrastructure projects. For our team, it was also an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise and share more about the work we deliver across the industry.
We showcased our specialist Klemm 708 Vulcan and a low bearing pressure Comacchio 305 drilling rig from Strata Geotechnics, giving attendees the opportunity to see our equipment up close and learn more about the ground investigation and ground engineering techniques we use to support major energy infrastructure projects across the UK.
The day also supported our commitment to creating social value through meaningful engagement with local communities, while encouraging interest in STEM subjects and helping to inspire the next generation of engineers and construction professionals.
