Van Elle’s ground investigation business, STRATA Geotechnics continues to expand with the award of long term, national frameworks by Highways England and The Coal Authority named one of the seven firms Highways England will use to provide geotechnical services over the next four years.
As one of seven partners selected nationally by Highways England, STRATA have been successful in two of the three regions; the North as well as the Midlands & East, with around £91m worth of ground investigation contracts to be delivered over the four years across the three regions.
The award follows the recent successful completion of ground investigation works by STRATA on the A428 Black Cat project for Skanska and the M27 Smart Motorway scheme for Bam – Morgan Sindall JV
STRATA have also been appointed as one of six contractors on The Coal Authority’s ground investigation framework for works relating to coal fields across the UK.
